Fowler in ankle scare
11:50am Wednesday 17th March 2010

MIKE FOWLER will see a specialist today to determine if he has broken his ankle for the second time in seven months.
The popular Welsh midfielder has made late substitute appearances in Rovers' last two Blue Square Premier matches, after suffering a career-threatening triple fracture, dislocation and ligament damage in a pre-season friendly against Exeter City.
Fowler said: "I took a knock when I went into a tackle against Luton Town last week, but managed to play on.
"I went to hospital on Saturday morning and I will find out today, but it looks like a new fracture."
Relegation-haunted Forest Green travel to Kettering Town on Saturday (3pm) and Salisbury City next Tuesday (7.45pm).
