This way to Cotwsold Airport! - misspelt road sign eludes passers-by for weeks

A MISSPELT road sign for Cotswold Airport at Kemble eluded motorists for weeks before the error was finally spotted.
The white sign on the A429 near Cirencester misplaced the "s" and "w" in Cotswold to spell Cotwsold Airport.
Nick Howard, manager of the airport, which was previously known as Kemble Airfield, said a couple weeks passed before he received an email saying the sign was wrongly spelt.
A spokesman for Gloucestershire County Council, which installed the sign, said it had now been removed and was being put right at the manufacturer’s cost.
