Family from Elcombe, near Slad, appeals for return of rowing boat

A FAMILY is appealing for information after a handmade rowing boat was stolen from a pond in Elcombe, a hamlet near Slad, on Friday. Mother Julie Cooper explained that the bright blue boat was made by her son Brendan when he was aged 14 and has great sentimental value. The boat is 7ft long and has 'Mal de Mer' written on its side. Anyone with information should contact police on 0845 090 1234 quoting incident number 237 of March 12.
